Finally saw it - worth the wait. It's a very cool Halloween flick, i thoroughly enjoyed it.
It's not Creepshow - nothing ever could be - but it's one of the better anthology movies i've seen over the years. Defo check it out!

Yeah i caught it at frightfest over here in the uk. a definite dvd purchase, and certainly one for a halloween party!

Finally saw it - I think the strongest segment was the one with the sunken bus and the snotty kids, but overall it was alot of fun... I could see it taking place in the same world as Nightbreed, and it shares some interesting things in common (supernatural creatures coming face to face with serial killers, for example)
The main weakness to my mind was the whole "Pulp Fiction" time-sequence-out-of-wack editing between sequences. I think that it did serve a genuine point in one story (the first part with the trick-r-treaters, and the second with the main monster at the house next door), but I didn't think it added as much as the filmmakers wanted... the straight story was strong enough to be great on it's own.
And good news - the director is apparently working on Part 2!
