That's right it's the Boxing Helena and daughter of David Jennifer Lynch, making a film about the legend of the nagin (snake-human shapeshifters). Cool interview and pix of the star Hisss-er HERE!Here's an excerpt that has the plot: All I have to say is, based on the director, story, and pix I've seen, this will be a must-see!

Ooooh! Sounds interesting. Me likey. I thought Boxing Helena was a cool, quirky little film - maybe i'm alone on this one but i enjoyed its oddness. Not seen Surveillance yet, but it's on my 'list'....
As now is Hisss.
Darkglobe mate - you never seem to disappoint. Legend.

Thanks - I try to keep up with reports of cool films around the net, and I'm going to make more of an effort to make Midian a place where people can go to hear about some of the great upcoming horror film!
Boxing Helena was shot in GA, and thus I've seen some of the filming locations! I like it as a film, but it is really peculiar. I haven't seen it in a dog's age, though.

Well, i tracked it down - still not re-watched it yet... i DID watch Surveillance though. Not brilliant, not by a long shot, but it does have that trademarked other worldly Lynchian feel to it and i was glued to the screen from start to finish. Somewhat charming and disturbing. I won't post spoilers or plot details but i would say 'check it out'.
