I recently got the Nightbreed comics (exept for #8, which is coming) and have read the fan letters under a section called the Breeding Grounds. Here's what I have to say about the comics and letters:
(Also, there's some questions here I want answered, and if I put this topic under the wrong section, just move it, please.)
1. According to issue #19, Lude cried in Jihad #2. Poor guy. I'll bet it was Pinhead who caused him to cry. Making a prankster cry....Pinhead should be ashamed of himself! If me and Leroy were there, we would've kicked Pinhead's butt all the way back down to Leviathan! Anyone agree?
2. Speaking of which, I'm kind of at a loss that Leroy and Lude only made short cameos in the last two issues. Also, Leroy's only speaking line is "I can see ya!" Pure Leroy, but it's just not enough for me! Anyone got the writer's or drawer's prowless to make a story or comic about the demented duo?
3. According to issue #16, A past "Breed-head" named Angela is (was?) a devoted fan of Kinski. So much in fact, that she has adorned herself with crescent-moon-faced jewelery. So, my question is, how do you show your love of Nightbreed to the world?
4. This same girl seems to have the answer to the legendary question: "The Breed: where are they now?" According to her, they now reside in south-eastern Illinois in a place near the Little Wabash River that has many hills, caves and waterfalls. The place is called Pond Creek, and, according to Angela, "The Breed are having a great time there." Hmmmm....I wonder if this "Angela" girl was the first Natural to join The Breed....Never mind. Now, who's up for driving (or flying) there and seeing for yourself? I call the backseat! (They're all walking dead, so I'll bet they'll all look the same way they did in 1990....or maybe I'm hallucinating right now....)
