According to Box Office Mojo, Nightbreed came out on Friday, February 16th, 1990. As you guys know, the 16th is tomorrow, but it came out today in the past, when the months were different! So, we have a two-day holiday to celebrate!
Happy releaseday to all our friends down in New Midian!

Get ready for some morbid musings...
As this day draws to a close and the time of the Nightbreed comes with the rising of the "Kinski" moon, we shall remember what Clive Barker's masterpiece was to be, what it is, and what it has become.
I'm sure that the 'Breed in New Midian are having a grand celebration right now as the crickets start to cry.
Maybe they're waiting for us to join their revelries.
If you all would just go outside, close your eyes and listen, you could probably hear, from some undisclosed location,
Kushnir Day drumming out tribal rhythms....
Laughing and singing....
And, the loudest of all, the whole of the 'Breed, from Narcisse to Kinski, from Peloquin to Leroy and Lude, to even Baphomet himself, calling us...
"Come...Will you not come?"
"Won't you please come?"
Perhaps it is only the wind....
(Yes, I am insane. Think Narcisse and Leroy Gomm combined.)
